What is the Booking Policy?

We require a deposit in the amount of 1 (one) nights stay (total booking amount including lodging tax if staying only one night). The deposit amount will be charged to the credit card provided.

If booking through an online travel agent, such as Booking.com, booking policies may differ.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

We are currently offering Free Cancellation for cancellations made outside of 1 DAY prior to check-in date.

Cancellations made inside of 1 day will result in forfeit of deposit amount.

Do all of the rooms have ocean views and balconies?

With the exception of our Mountain View King Rooms, all of our rooms provide ocean views with private balconies.

What time is Check-In / Check-Out?

Check-In is 3:00 PM or later or your arrival date. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to call to check your rooms status.

Check-Out is by 11:00 AM on your departure date. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate late check-out requests.

Is there on-site parking available?

Yes, we have parking available on property for all of our guests.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

Yes, a complimentary hot breakfast is included for all guests. Breakfast is served on the ground floor from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM daily.

Is there elevator access to upper floors?

Yes, we have an elevator available in the lobby.

Is the Atlantic Eyrie a non-smoking property?

Yes, the Atlantic Eyrie is a non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited in guest rooms and balconies, and all other public areas such as the terrace and pool area. We have a designated smoking area near the lower parking lot away from the hotel.

Is the outdoor pool heated?

The pool is heated in-season (Memorial Day – Columbus Day).

How close is the hotel to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park?

The hotel is located less than a five minute drive from downtown Bar Harbor and even closer to Acadia National Park. Acadia is nearly in the backyard!

Does the hotel offer any type of transportation services?

The hotel does not offer any form of transportation, but we are partners with the Island Explorer Shuttle which offers free shuttle bus service from the front door of the hotel to the Village Green in downtown Bar Harbor on a regular basis (available late June through early-October).

What type of local tour discounts do guests have access to?

We are partners with Acadia National Park Tours, who offers fully narrated bus tours of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Save 20% on all tour tickets when you book through the hotel at check in or during your stay. A great way to start your visit to the area!
